Alaskan Cruise-Humpback Bubble Net Feeding Part Two

This set of pics shows a second round of feeding. I got to see them do this procedure about 5 or 6 times. Incredible! The pink stripe is the inside roof of the mouth. This set shows the neck pleats pretty well.

Special greetings to those I met on the cruise ship!

Wow, great pics, looks like it was a wonderful trip. Haven't done it yet ourselves, my husband doesn't like crusing, but I'm going to twist his arm and make him take me!

This is really interesting, and you have some great shots. I have such a hard time getting shots like this because my camera is so slow.

Holy Cow Scott!
You certainly managed to get off some awesome shots on your photo blog! I lived in Alaska for fifteen years. These pictures make me yearn to go back for a visit. The photos are stunning! I loved Alaska, and I love Dolphins and Whales. I'm doing the Desert for now, and I have a few shots posted on my new photography site as well. Since you said "for Petes sake visit my photo blog", I'm going to say the same to you! Its over here...

I really like your "Captian". Illustration along with the companion piece. Good work. The colors are really nice. Thank you for posting all of the wonderful Alaska shots!

Wow! Amazing! On my Alaskan cruise we glimpsed a few orcas and some dolphins, and we saw a flock of eagles surrounding some fishermen on shore - but nothing like your humpback pictures! What a thrill to actually see humpbacks feeding!

I really enjoyed all the photos. The whales, eagles, sea lions, dolphins, glaciers. All great. Great pictures of SF. I always loved walking around the Wharf. Did you bring back some sourdough bread? :)

Holy crap! How awesome are all of these pictures and all the ones all the way down the page?! Answer: very. I've always wanted to go on an Alaskan Cruise... I've even looked into pricing and things several times. This looks like the coolest vacation possible on this planet. I envy you greatly. Thanks for letting me know to check out this blog. I hadn't been here in a while. I need to go now... to find an Alaskan Cruise. Very cool.

Amazing photos ! I had my first experience with whales last september here in Quebec, and it was fantastic, even if it wasn't anywhere close to those spectacular shots. That must have been a great cruise ! Thanks for passing by on my blog ;-)
